Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups help members connect on a more personal level and tend to be rewarding and fulfilling. Form a group comprised of members sharing a common interest (Book Club, Mommy ‘n Me, Sister Mixers) with the intention of having this group create a bond with one another as well as the alumnae group. Interest Groups should have a chairman to be a liaison between the SIG and the alumnae chapter or association.

Weekday Book Club 

This is not your ordinary book club.  For those of you who love to read but prefer to make your own choices, join us for the Delta Gamma Book Club.  Each member is asked to bring a book they have read, enjoyed, and are willing to lend.  The group meets over food and drink to discuss submissions.  At the end of the night you will leave with at least one new book in hand and be ready to come back for more.  For further information, please contact Leah at dcdgbookclub@gmail.com.

Saturday Book Club

Book Club is so popular that the DG alumnae chapter needs two groups to accommodate all our book loving members!!  Similar to the original book club format, this group differs in that we meet on weekends and e-readers are welcome.  Members are asked to bring an item to contribute to the meal.  For further information please contact Kerri at deegee@kerricox.com.

DG Dineout

DGs in DC

Wine Tasting

Know nothing about wine?  Know a little but want to learn more?  Know a lot but want to team up to taste the best wine possible?  Past tastings have covered an assortment of regions and varieties around the world, cheese and dessert pairings, and trying out the best wine bars in town!  For more information please contact Allison at dcdgwine@gmail.com.

Lunch Bunch (Lunch in the Bonds)

DG Fit Club

Gourmet Gammas (formerly Cooking Club)
